Use this Purchasing Guide to review relevant information on ordering and purchasing Mokume Gane and Damascus Steel rings and jewelry by Andrew Nyce Designs. To obtain more detailed information on our policies regarding the ordering process, please review our Guarantee & Policies page.

Guarantee

Mokume Gane and Damascus Stainless Steel jewelry purchased from Andrew Nyce Designs are guaranteed to be top quality and free from any defects in materials or workmanship. If you are not completely satisfied with the materials or workmanship of our jewelry, you may return it to us within fifteen (15) days of your receiving the package for repair or replacement. We will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction or your money will be refunded. Exceptions apply.

Please note that since each ring is custom made, no two rings will be exactly alike. In addition, there may be some variation in color, texture or pattern as compared to what is shown on the Andrew Nyce Designs web site.

Turnaround Time

Our turnaround time for a handcrafted ring from Andrew Nyce Designs is 3 weeks to 6 weeks from the date the order is placed. Custom ring designs involving CAD will take 5 to 8 weeks. If you need your ring within a shorter time frame from the date of your order, we can provide you with a temporary ring.

Ring Sizing

When you order a ring from Andrew Nyce Designs, we will send you a set of calibrated ring finger gauges to ensure an exact fit. Calibrated ring finger gauges will provide us with your ring size measurement in quarter-size increments. If you don’t know your ring size, obtain a preliminary ring size measurement at a jewelry store. This preliminary measurement will enable us to send you the correct calibrated ring finger gauges that will provide the most accurate ring size measurement.

Payment Methods

All of our Mokume Gane and Damascus Stainless Steel rings and jewelry are custom made to order. Therefore, upon placing an order, a deposit of 50% of the total purchase price is due; the remainder is due prior to shipping the order. Upon placing your order for Balance Collection jewelry, 100% of the purchase price is due.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Personal checks and cashier checks drawn on a U.S. bank also are accepted. Do not send credit card information prior to discussing with us the most secure way to do so. If you reside in the state of Maine, your order is subject to sales tax.

Shipping

Andrew Nyce Designs ships via Fed-Ex both within the United States and internationally. Shipping and insurance are invoiced at cost and are based upon both the shipping method and the amount being insured.
