Andrew Nyce Designs guarantees all our work to be top quality and free from any defects in materials and workmanship. Every effort will be made to ensure that the item is delivered to you exactly as you ordered it and free of defects.
If you are not completely satisfied with the materials or workmanship of our jewelry, you may return it to us within fifteen (15) days of your receiving the package for repair or replacement. We will make every effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction or your money will be refunded.
Diamonds and Gemstone Guarantee:
We warranty all small accents diamonds and gemstones in our rings for the first year from delivery of the ring. We will replace them free of charge if they fall out with normal wear within the first year. However, there are no refunds for large diamonds or gemstones. If we purchased a large diamond or gemstone for you, you own the stone and it will be returned to you.
Exceptions to our Guarantee:
- Returned rings that have been subject to abuse or adverse chemical environments are not covered.
- Since each ring is custom made, no two rings are exactly alike. In addition, there may be some variation in color, texture or pattern as compared to what is shown on the Andrew Nyce Designs website; these variations are not covered.
- If you have known sensitivities or allergies to certain metals or alloys, please be sure to mention this when ordering your ring. Returns for adverse allergic reactions to metal alloys used in the Mokume Gane or Damascus Stainless Steel rings are not covered.
- If Andrew Nyce Designs makes a ring to the size that you provided based upon your measurements using the ring finger gauges, and it does not fit, that ring is not covered under our guarantee and return policy. » top

We accept returns for issues with workmanship or materials. Returns only will be accepted with prior authorization from Andrew Nyce Designs. The items must be returned within fifteen (15) days of your receiving the package. at which time we will assess how we can correct the problem. If we cannot correct the issue to your satisfaction, the sale will be cancelled. However since all items are custom made we may, at our discretion, require a 25% restocking fee based on the original cost of the item. Proper ring sizing ensures proper fit and comfort. Ring sizes are tricky to measure. When you order a ring from Andrew Nyce Designs, we will send you a set of calibrated ring finger gauges to ensure an exact fit. The most accurate ring size measurements are obtained by using a calibrated ring finger gauge (or sizer). There are two types of gauges: a narrow and a wide gauge. A narrow gauge will give a different result than a wide gauge.
Please note that when ordering a ring, it is your responsibility to provide the correct ring size. A ring ordered with the incorrect ring size is not covered under our guarantee and return policy. However, if we have crafted a ring for you in a size other than the ring size you ordered, we will size or replace it at no charge.
A special note for customers who are provided with calibrated ring finger gauges. If Andrew Nyce Designs makes a ring to the size that you provided based upon your measurements using the ring finger gauges, and it does not fit, that ring is not covered under our guarantee and return policy. In this instance, we will resize the ring so that it fits, but there may be a nominal charge. » top

Andrew Nyce Designs guarantees the highest purity for the precious metal alloys used in its Mokume Gane and Damascus Stainless Steel rings. Andrew Nyce Designs purchases precious metal alloys from only the most trusted names in the precious metals industry.
The Damascus Stainless Steel used in our Damascus rings comes from two sources. One source is custom made in Sweden by Damasteel, a leading specialty steel maker. The other source is Andrew Nyce Designs’ own customed-produced Damascus Stainless Steel which is made in the United States. » top

Andrew Nyce Designs only sells diamonds certified by independent gemological laboratories. All diamonds are purchased from Stuller - one of the most trusted names in gemstones. We are happy to assist you in selecting a diamond or gemstone that will be the ideal match for the ring style you have selected. To obtain a quote on a diamond or gemstone, specify the clarity, color and the cut that you want. Diamond certifications will be supplied upon request. All large Stuller diamonds come with a certification and a one-year insurance policy. » top

In general, the price of handcrafted jewelry is determined by the materials of construction and the time it takes to make the piece. The price for Mokume Gane and Damascus Stainless Steel rings is a function of precious metal content, ring size, and overall ring width.
Our prices range from $890 to $6600 for Mokume Gane rings and $640 to $4800 for Damascus Stainless Steel. Rings that contain Platinum and Gold are quoted at market price. For the starting prices of our Mokume Gane and Damascus Steel Collections, please select this link.

Andrew Nyce Designs accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Personal checks and cashier's checks drawn on a U.S. bank also are accepted. Upon placing an order with Andrew Nyce Designs, 50% of the total purchase price is due; 50% is due prior to shipping the order. Personal or cashier’s checks should be made payable to Andrew Nyce Designs. A $25 fee will be charged for all checks returned for insufficient funds. All transactions are checked for possible fraud.» top

Turnaround time for a handcrafted ring from Andrew Nyce Designs is 2 weeks to 6 weeks from the date the order is placed. Custom ring designs involving CAD will take 5 to 8 weeks. If you have a wedding or ceremony within a shorter time frame from the date of your order, we will provide you with temporary rings to wear; there is no charge for this service. An exact shipping date will be specified when you place the order. » top

Your order will be shipped via FedEx unless otherwise specified. Shipping and insurance will be invoiced at cost. The amount of the insurance will vary with the declared value of the ring.
For U.S. orders, the cost is between $50 to $75 for shipping, handling and insurance on orders up to $5000. Additional insurance charges apply for orders over $5000.
For international orders, the cost is between $75 to $125 for shipping, handling and insurance. Additional insurance charges apply for orders over $5000. In addition, customers are responsible for all customs, tax and duty charges which may be levied by your country's Customs authority.
For Canadian and Mexican orders, we include a North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Certificate of Origin form upon shipping the order that may reduce or eliminate the customs duty applied to the shipment.
